A few useful answers.
Can I turn the subtitles off after exporting?
No. Burned-in subtitles become part of the video frames. Keep the original video and subtitle file if you also need a version with switchable captions.
Will it create subtitles from speech?
No. Supply an existing SRT or VTT file. You can convert or adjust that file with our other subtitle tools first.
Is the add subtitles to video free?
Yes. Use the tool and download the result without an account, subscription, credits or watermark. Paid AI video generation is a separate service.
Are my files uploaded?
Media and text are processed in your browser. The tool does not upload them to a rendering server. The site still downloads its code and fonts and uses ordinary page analytics.
Will it work on my phone?
The page works on smaller screens, but media export depends on browser codec support, memory and device performance. Check the limits shown in the tool and use a short file first.
