What is Shorts Generator?
Shorts Generator turns text, images or reference audio into a short AI video with sound and optional captions. You download a finished MP4. Separate free browser tools help you edit existing media.
Who is it for?
Founders and marketers who need a launch or product video, creators who want story-driven shorts, and anyone with an idea but no time for production. Music video tools are included for musicians.
How does it work?
Describe the video, optionally add up to four reference images or audio, choose a resolution and format, and generate. For lip sync, use one portrait and an audio clip. Your finished MP4 appears in your video library.
How long can a video be?
New text, image and reference videos are 15 seconds. Lip-sync videos follow the supplied audio, which must be between 5 and 14.8 seconds. Separate music video tools have their own limits.
How much does it cost?
Hobby includes 100 monthly credits, Standard 500, and Professional 1,000. 15-second text/image videos start at 30 credits; lip sync and reference videos start at 50 credits, with 480p, 720p and 1080p options. See the pricing page for current monthly and annual prices.
What formats and quality do I get?
Choose vertical (9:16) for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or landscape (16:9) for YouTube and websites. Resolution options are 480p, 720p and 1080p. Download an MP4 with sound and optional captions.
Will my product look exactly like my photos?
Photos guide the generation, but AI can change fine details, lettering and interfaces. Review the finished video before using it as a product demonstration.
Can I upload images or audio?
Yes. Add up to four JPG, PNG or WebP reference images, up to 5 MB each, and optional audio. Use one portrait with a 5–14.8 second audio clip for lip sync. This flow does not have a voice picker or accept existing video uploads. The free browser editors can edit existing videos.
How do I change a finished video?
Open the result, describe the changes and start a new version. This restores your brief and reference photos for another generation using credits. It does not edit individual scenes in place.
Do the browser editors require a subscription?
The 20 free browser tools, including Texting Story Maker and Photo Slideshow Maker, require no account, subscription or credits and add no watermark. Media processing happens on your device. Paid AI video creation and the separate photo storyboard workspace require a subscription.
What happens if a generation fails?
Credits for that video are returned automatically. Your brief and photos are kept so you can revise and try again.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Open the customer portal from your Account page. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
