Will compression always make my video smaller?
No. An already efficient or low-bitrate clip can become larger when re-encoded. Compare the output size and choose a lower bitrate if you need a smaller file. Resolution is capped automatically at 1280 pixels on the longest side.
Can you guarantee an exact file size?
No. Codec behavior and audio/container overhead affect the final size. The tool reports the result instead of promising an exact byte count.
Is the video compressor free?
Yes. Use the tool and download the result without an account, subscription, credits or watermark. Paid AI video generation is a separate service.
Are my files uploaded?
Media and text are processed in your browser. The tool does not upload them to a rendering server. The site still downloads its code and fonts and uses ordinary page analytics.
Will it work on my phone?
